I was born on October 25, 1973 in Grenoble, France. I spent 5 years at the University Paris VI. During the summer of 1996, after my 3rd year at Paris VI, I participated in the "summer students" program at CERN, thanks to one of my professors who registered me there, thinking that I would find it interesting. I really enjoyed high-energy physics, and I knew there that it was what I wanted to do. I received my PhD in experimental particle physics in January 2001. For my PhD I worked in a laboratory in Orsay near Paris. I was hired as teacher-researcher in the university Paris VI in September 2001. Today my former professors are my colleagues, which is nice. I work in the LPNHE, a laboratory of high-energy physics located on the campus of the University (called Jussieu). I research with the help of an experiment called D0 which is based near Chicago at Fermilab.

I have been married since August 1998, just before starting my PhD, but a real family life had begun for us with the birth of our little boy in August 2002.

I like to cook, receive friends, but also to go out to restaurants. I like to go see movies, but since 2002 we essentially watch DVDs at home. I increase my collection of US sitcom DVDs when I go to Chicago.
